You know, technology in the care space can be a really funny thing. Sometimes it helps. Sometimes—no matter how well intentioned—it just makes things more complicated. We’d like to think that ShareVision is in the former category, and as such we have a particular interest in other technologies that do what they’re supposed to do without getting in the way: help people help other people.

Social media strengthens connections and collaborations. It’s a way to share knowledge with your: community, clients, staff, volunteers, other agencies, and those seeking your expertise. Wonderful, right?

In 2018 it is used to turn communication into interactive dialogue among communities and individuals. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, GooglePlus, the list goes on. These platforms enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking, and who in this day and age doesn’t want to be able to do that for their organization?

Coffee shops give sense of purpose – more than a morning eye opener

I recently went out for dinner with a friend who told me about an exciting new project that he was a part of. Among other things, my friend and I share a common goal of purposeful community. The project he is involved in will provide supportive housing, as well as community amenity spaces including a gym, a coffee shop, and non-profit offices. Exciting stuff.
